Capstone Turbine Announces a New Follow-on Order from Russia

CHATSWORTH, Calif.--

Capstone Turbine Corporation (www.microturbine.com) (Nasdaq: CPST), the world's leading manufacturer of microturbine energy systems, today announced a new follow-on order from its distributor in Russia amounting to approximately $1.6 million (or 1.8 megawatts) of C65 microturbine systems.

Capstone's distributor in Russia, Banking Production Center ("BPC"), ordered the systems which will be deployed at multiple sites throughout Russia. Previous microturbines ordered from BPC have been deployed in a variety of applications, including a commercial business complex in Moscow, a shopping center, telecommunications facilities, a prestigious ski resort complex near St. Petersburg, and a hotel in Moscow, among others.
