Mr. Canino was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board on March 11, 2024. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Canino served as the Chief Operating Officer of ESS Tech, Inc. (NYSE: GWH), a developer of long-duration energy storage solutions, from September 2022 to March 2024. He previously spent approximately eight years with Smardt Chiller Group, Inc. (“Smardt”), a manufacturer of oil-free chillers, most recently serving as Smardt’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Canino also served in various roles with Trane Commercial Systems (“Trane”), a manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, including as Trane’s Vice President, Enterprise Businesses and Renewable Energy. Mr. Canino’s career includes multiple leadership, management, operations and sales roles with publicly traded and privately held organizations. Mr. Canino serves as a Board of Directors member of Western Washington University and holds a Master of Science in Engineering Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Executive Director

Ms. Derstine was appointed to Vice President of Marketing and Distribution for Capstone on December 1, 2019, where she manages and directs the execution of the Company’s Distribution strategy and global marketing initiatives. Ms. Derstine joined Capstone in 2012 as Director of Policy where she served as the company’s government affairs lead. She then led a team with additional responsibilities for strategic market and competitive analysis as well as distribution channel development. Prior to Capstone, Ms. Derstine entered the civil service as a Presidential Management Fellow for the U.S. Department of Commerce. Working within the International Trade Administration, she represented U.S. government and business interests in a variety of roles covering EMEA geographies, energy industries and trade and investment concerns. Ms. Derstine represents Capstone in a number of trade association leadership roles, including the CHP Alliance, the Clean Energy Business Network, and the California Clean DG Coalition. She has also served on the Secretary of Commerce’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee since 2014. She holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and European Studies from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago.

Ms. Chidbachian was appointed as the Vice President of Aftermarket Customer Service for Capstone Green Energy on December 5, 2022. In her current role, she is responsible for providing support to the global distribution network, managing the Service department's strategies and initiatives, and overseeing the UK Integrated Remanufacturing Facility.

Ms. Chidbachian has been a part of the Capstone team since 2011 and has held various positions during this period. Prior to her time at Capstone Green Energy, she managed the 24-Hour Helpline for Medtronic Diabetes from 2008 to 2011. She also served as the Director of Call Center Operations at IndyMac Bank (later acquired by One West Bank) from 2005 to 2007. And during her 14-year tenure at Washington Mutual Bank (later acquired by JP Morgan Chase & Co) from 1990 to 2004, Ms. Chidbachian held various positions, including Division Manager in mortgage lending and Department Manager in retail banking.

Mr. Kong was appointed Vice President of Technology on December 11, 2023. In his role, he is responsible for shaping Capstone's engineering and technology activities and is a member of the Capstone leadership team. Mr. Kong brings a wealth of experience and strategic vision to overseeing the expansion of the technology department, ensuring its alignment with the company’s overarching goals.

Since 2005, Mr. Kong has been part of the Capstone team, holding roles of increasing responsibility from Development Test to Core Engineering & Compliance. Most recently, he served as the Director of Product Engineering and Product Integrity. He is known for his collaborative approach to problem solving and commitment to operational excellence. Prior to joining Capstone Mr. Kong held Research and Systems Test engineering positions at Frontier Energy and Solo Energy Corporation. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley.

On January 27, 2025, John Toor was appointed as Capstone’s Vice President of Operations. In this role, he leads efforts to enhance the Company’s operations, with a focus on optimizing production and supply chain functions.

With over 16 years of experience in manufacturing, Mr. Toor has held multiple senior leadership roles in operations and supply chain management at renowned organizations, including Meggitt Control Systems, Parker Hannifin, and most recently, All Clear Aerospace and Defense. He brings extensive expertise in applying continuous improvement principles to manufacturing processes, driven by a deep passion for operational excellence.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Mr. Miller brings over 40 years of broad-based executive management experience across the manufacturing, distribution, and transportation industries, having held senior finance and leadership roles at both public and private companies spanning multiple sectors. He previously served as Chair of the Audit Committee on the Board of Directors of Capstone Green Energy Holdings, Inc., and currently serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee on the Board of Directors of Spruce Power Holding Corporation, an owner and operator of distributed solar energy assets, since 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Mr. Miller served as Chief Executive Officer of Power Solutions International, Inc., a publicly traded company specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacture of advanced, emission-certified engines and power systems. From 2008 to 2016, he held operational and financial management roles of increasing responsibility at Navistar International Corporation, a global vehicle manufacturer and solutions provider, including serving as Senior Vice President of Operations and Corporate Finance.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Miller served as Chief Financial Officer of Laidlaw International, Inc., Chicago Metallic Corporation, Fleetpride, Inc., and Peapod, Inc.

Mr. Miller holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from DePauw University.

Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Graves, held senior financial leadership roles across publicly traded and private equity-owned organizations. She has served as Senior Director of Accounting and FP&A at Maxar Space LLC, a provider of advanced space technology specializing in satellite development and deployment, since February 2019. Previously, she held the positions of Corporate Controller at Mosys Inc. (NASDAQ: PRSO), a fabless semiconductor company, for four years, and Director of Accounting at DynCorp International, a government defense contractor, for four years. Ms. Graves’s career also includes a variety of finance and accounting leadership roles within startup and emerging growth companies. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Ms. Graves holds a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Information Technologies, from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, San Marcos.

Mr. Silecchia brings close to three decades of experience in precision cooling, power, design and construction to the Mission Critical team. Prior to joining Capstone, Rob spent the last 10 years as Director, Global / National Accts – Data Center at Smardt Chiller Group, building out the company’s Global Team in the Data Center Vertical Market. He managed a multifaceted team that supported the end-to-end project lifecycle from Account Management through the manufacturing process and post commissioning. Rob has successfully managed over 100 Data Center projects for either Hyperscale, Colo and/or other DC client types in the mission critical space and has a thorough understanding of the DC customer and process.

Mr. Fung brings over two decades of experience in power, cooling, and infrastructure systems for data centers and other mission-critical environments. Prior to joining Capstone, he served as Executive Vice President at Custom Mechanical Systems and held senior roles leading large-scale design and delivery projects. A licensed Professional Engineer, Carl combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to help organizations achieve reliable, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions.
